About the Howard Brown Memorial Speedway |
The Track
2008 marks the tenth year for the
Speedway. Since 1999 the speedway has seen an increase in race fans as well
as race cars and drivers. |

The speedway features a one quarter mile
dirt track that sees some fast paced and exciting action. |
How to get
here |
The Races
Usually there are two qualifying races and the main event for 4 cylinders. Every so often there are special races that take
place. Powder Puff races, (which features the Women Of Racing), Pit Crew
Races, and Staff races are held occasionally. |

Other special races include the Howard Brown Memorial Trophy. There
will also be other special races that will be announced later in the year. |

Family Oriented
All events at the speedway are family oriented and the kids even get to ride
in the race cars with the drivers at the end of the day. |

Concessions
Kids and adults can enjoy a refreshing snack at the tracks
concession stands. Central Snacks provides you with great fast foods to help
ward off hunger while you enjoy a day at the races. Our concession stand
provides you with beverages, potato chips, bars and candy for those with a
sweet tooth. |

The Bishop's Falls Volunteer Fire Department are a very important part of
the Exploit's Valley Speedway. They are there to provide fast and
professional emergency service when the need arises. |
